Round Five Second-Best Attended Round in VFL/AFL History
Today’s crowd of 87,685 for the ANZAC Day match between Essendon and Collingwood at the MCG has seen the competition post the second-best round in the game's history.
The final crowd tally across the nine games saw 391,980 fans, with the two biggest rounds in history both coming this season.
