The North Melbourne Football Club is seeking an experienced Sponsorship Manager to join their Commercial team.
Reporting to the Commercial GM this role will be responsible for managing the club’s sponsorship partners and will play a critical role in delivering outstanding levels of sponsorship servicing.
THE ROLE
- Leading a team in the day to day management of the club’s sponsorships
- Close knowledge of contractual agreements, ensuring the delivery of contractual rights, leveraging and activation programs for sponsors
- Work closely with the General Manager in planning and developing sponsorship programs in line with the sponsor’s objectives
- Using knowledge of contractual agreements and sponsor objectives to come up with new ideas to enhance the sponsorships year on year
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL NEED
- At least 5 years in a sponsorship management role within an elite sporting environment
- Well developed writing and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with experience in managing client relationships
- Excellent people management skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Drive, passion and high energy which motivates others
