The Brisbane Lions AFC advises that the Club's Melbourne-based headquarters is relocating to Etihad Stadium at the Docklands precinct this weekend.

The lease on the Club's former office space at The Manningham Club in Bulleen expires this Sunday 8 August which has forced the Lions to search for an alternate home in Victoria.

While a number of the Club's Victorian members and supporters have become accustomed to visiting The Manningham Club over the years, the Lions certainly believe there are a great deal of benefits in making the move.

The new facility will have undercover parking available for visitors and is more accessible by public transport considering it's located right alongside Southern Cross Station.

Etihad Stadium has the capability of hosting a wide range of supporter functions as well as the opportunity to provide a live feed of Lions matches played outside Victoria in one of their on-site venues.

There are also a range of other commercial and match-day benefits in occupying space at an official AFL venue. Overall, the Lions believe the relocation of the Victorian Operations to Etihad Stadium is a strong move forward for the Club.

Unlike The Manningham Club, the new premises won't have a Lions Shop facility however fans will still be able to purchase a wide range of Club merchandise at Victorian events and on match-days.

Merchandise items can still be purchased online at any time by visiting www.lions.com.au/shop or by calling the Brisbane Lions Shop on 07 3335 1712.

The Club's existing offices at The Manningham Club will officially close at 5pm this Thursday 5 August. The Melbourne Office is expected to re-open for business at its new location by Tuesday 10 August.

During the office closure, Victorian members and supporters are encouraged to contact the Brisbane Lions Administration Offices at the Gabba on 1800 216 885 for any queries.

Once the relocation is complete, the Victorian Office's existing telephone number and email address will remain the same.
