West Coast Eagles stars Mark Nicoski, Matt Rosa, Brad Ebert and Ashley Smith headed to Princess Margaret Hospital last week to brighten the days of some very brave kids in hospital.

Armed with West Coast Eagles goodie bags, the players hopped from room to room, chatting with the youngsters, signing autographs and having photos taken.

West Coast’s PMH player ambassadors Mark Nicoski and Matt Rosa agreed that the visits always leave a big impression on the players.

“These kids are always so happy and positive, it definitely has a big impact on myself and the rest of the players,” Nicoski said.

Since 2005, the West Coast Eagles Football Club has been a proud partner of the PMH Foundation, helping to raise more than $170,000 for sick and injured kids in Western Australia.

These funds have helped purchase vital medical equipment including a patient cooling machine for the paediatric intensive care unit, an overhead warmer for the neonatal ward, a cardiac monitor  for the infants ward and theming of the sensory room.
