The annual Swans Squad Junior Clinic was held on Sunday morning following the Swans game against the Kangaroos, but the loss didn’t damper the excitement.
The Swans Squad Members love this opportunity to see the players and go through some footy drills from the experts.
Once again the weather was kind, with the cloud disappearing just as the team arrived.
The kids enjoyed the fun warm-up exercises under the guidance of our mascot - Cyggy!
Then the 300 junior members, who arrived nice and early to start the 8.45am clinic, were split into groups with all the players.
Once again, Michael O'Loughin had a marking competition and then a kicking competition where his humour became known to all the kids.
When the children were out of the running he turned them into defenders to put the kids off their mark. All the kids were in hysterics at Magic’s suggested phases and, needless to say, the winner was very deserving.
Adam Goodes and Luke Vogels held a goal kicking competition while Barry Hall and Adam Schneider ended their drills with a trivia competition!
A great morning was had by all with the Junior Members enjoying the time they spent with their heroes.
