PORT Adelaide forward Aaron Young will return to the side in place of the injured Chad Wingard for Thursday night's clash with Geelong at Simonds Stadium.
Young was dropped for the Power's victory over Gold Coast in Shanghai, but gets another chance after Wingard sustained a calf strain at training last Saturday.
"Aaron will probably be the one who will come in and all things being equal that will be the only change we will make," Power coach Ken Hinkley said on Wednesday morning.
"Aaron was very unlucky to go out of the side, (but) Brendon Ah Chee's form was so good we had to play him.
"Karl Amon went out of the side a couple of weeks ago and came straight back in, 'Youngy' will be the same this week."
Fellow half-forward Aidyn Johnson was the only travelling emergency for the Power as they arrived at Adelaide Airport for the flight to Melbourne.
Hinkley was quick to downplay any suggestion Wingard's injury was a result of the Power's travel from China.
"It was an incident at training where he took off quite quickly and landed sharply and gave his calf a little tweak," Hinkley said.
"He'll be out for a maximum of two weeks.
"Whether it's less than that, we'll keep our fingers crossed.
Wingard's absence will allow Ah Chee, Robbie Gray and Sam Gray to rotate through the midfield more often.
Gray has predominately played deep in attack after being troubled with an on-going groin issue.
The three-time best and fairest has relished the 11-day break after the Power's successful trip to China.
"We're lucky (the bye) has come around when it did," Hinkley said.
"Rob had that little kick in the calf leading into the China game and he definitely looks better.
"The speculation (of him not playing) is out of his control, but from his point of view he was always comfortable he was going to play in all the games he's been in."
The Power (5-3) take on a Cats side that was ultra impressive in disposing of the Western Bulldogs last Friday night.
Brownlow Medallist Patrick Dangerfield was outstanding with 36 possessions and four goals, but the Power won't consider putting a tagger on him.
"We don't have one to bring back in, so we'll just play the way we play," Hinkley said.
"Dangerfield, (Joel) Selwood, (Mitch) Duncan, (Tom) Hawkins, (Steven) Motlop, there's plenty of them out there.
"You go crazy sometimes worrying about them.
"Our greatest strength is this year is worrying about what we do and we're going to stay in that space."
The Power are searching for their first win at Simonds Stadium in a decade, and just their third in 14 attempts overall.
