The St Kilda Football Club will today mourn the loss of its only Premiership Captain, Darrel ‘Doc’ Baldock, when he is farewelled at a State Funeral in his home of Tasmania today.

A number of Club representatives will attend the funeral of the Saints great, including Captain Nick Riewoldt, Senior Coach Ross Lyon, CEO Michael Nettlefold, Club President Greg Westaway and former teammate and friend Kevin ‘Cowboy’ Neale.
Baldock, passed away on the 2nd February at the Mersey Community Hospital at Latrobe, Tasmania, aged 72.

The ‘Doc’ played 119 games for St Kilda, kicked 236 goals and won the Club’s best and fairest on three occasions, he will be sorely missed.
