This weekend will see the top of the table Shanghai Eagles take on either the West Shanghai Dockers or North Shanghai Crows in the Shanghai AFL Grand Final.

The Shanghai Eagles have combined European flare with hard, committed footy to lead the competition for the entire season.

With a strong international line-up of Australians, Chinese, Irish, English and American players, the team is quietly confident leading up the biggest game of the year.

No nonsense coach Andrew Collins from Mailman, tells it to us straight: “The boys are ready.”

The grand final promises to be a huge game with the competition improving significantly as the season has progressed.

Key players for the Shanghai Eagles throughout the year include their courageous captain Peter “Pistol” Hunter and goalsneak Josh Hollway in front of the big sticks, as well as Geoff “Nic Nac” Tink, McDougall and Will “Twinkle toes” Abbott in the middle and Larry Li, Ian Foulsham, Visa Bob and Horse Mooney rock solid in defence.
