BRISBANE Lions youngster Elliot Yeo is set to join West Coast, with his manager Colin Young claiming a deal could be struck within 24 hours.
Yeo is one of a handful of young Lions players seeking returns to their respective homes.
Young said that although interest in Yeo had been shown by Fremantle, he expected his client to become an Eagle shortly.
Speaking to Gillette AFL Trade Radio, Young said the Eagles and Lions were close to brokering a deal to send the 20-year-old back across the country.
"I think West Coast and Brisbane, if everything goes well, you'd imagine something would turn out in the next 24 hours," Young said.
"I don't think they're far away at all."
Young also flagged the possible trade of Essendon defender David Myers.
The 24-year-old is another player in Young's stable and is seeking to switch clubs to guarantee increased opportunities in the midfield.
Young said that while the Myers is still wanted by the Bombers, he could leave as part of a multi-club trade next week.
"A few clubs have had a chat to (Essendon’s list manager) Adrian Dodoro regarding where David sits and Adrian's been adamant he'd like to see David at Essendon next year," he said.
"David would love to play in the midfield more regularly… [he] very well could be in the mix for… a two or three way club group trade.
"If it does happen it might not transpire until next week but that's something that Adrian will take control of because Myers is under contract.
"If the Essendon Football Club was happy with the trade he'd move."
