MELBOURNEfc has included four new names into the 25 man squad to play the undefeated Hawks on Sunday afternoon.

It's the second encounter the two teams have enjured in eight weeks, with Melbourne including Adem Yze, Ben Holland, Chris Johnson and Jace Bode in the preliminary squad.

The only ‘out’ at this stage is Mark Jamar, who has been omitted.

If selected, Adem Yze will play his first game since the Round One loss to Hawthorn. Yze’s form at Sandringham over the past three weeks has been outstanding, with his experience amongst the younger players a highlight.

Chris Johnson is another player who was impressive, with 34 possessions and two goals in the VFL, along with Ben Holland, who kicked four goals and collected 18 possessions.  Jace Bode was named as an emergency for the clash against Adelaide, and he remains in contention for a senior call-up.

The match will mark David Neitz’s farewell, after he announced his retirement on Monday afternoon.

The seal will be placed on his magnificent playing career, and you can farewell him as he makes his way around the MCG for the last time.  It all starts at 1.45pm, so arrive early, cheer loudly, and remember ‘Neita’ and the part he has played in our great club.
