The Bendigo Bank Cats will play North Ballarat in a preliminary final at TEAC Oval on Saturday at 1.10pm.
After the week’s rest, the Cats will be primed to take on the red-hot Roosters, who banished three-time reigning premier Sandringham out of the finals race with a gritty 17-point victory on Saturday.
The winner will go straight through to next Sunday’s grand final at MC Labour Park.
The match will be televised live on ABC TV from 1pm, but Geelong supporters are encouraged to travel to Port Melbourne to watch the Cats battle it out for their second successive grand final appearance.
There will be no curtain raiser.
