Scans on Monday confirmed the bad news that Cripps’ season is over. The star midfielder suffered a fractured fibula after attempting to smother a kick from Melbourne defender Jayden Hunt during the second quarter last Sunday. Later in that term White was injured in a marking contest when teammate Levi Casboult fell across his left knee and scans on Monday revealed a minor medial ligament strain.
