SUMMARY
This ANZAC Day fixture is a massive occasion for the competition's newest clubs, especially for the Suns who are winless in 2015. They struggled without their captain Gary Ablett last year and even with him early in 2015, and with the little champ missing again, somebody must take the reins against the Giants. A fourth straight loss will virtually end Gold Coast's finals hopes, while GWS can get back on track after last week's loss in the Sydney derby.

THE SIX POINTS
1. The Giants won the first contest between the sides in 2012, but the Suns have won the last four meetings by an average margin of 49 points.
2. Both teams have been strong in centre clearances so far in 2015; Gold Coast is ranked first averaging 16 per game while the Giants average 13.7.
3. Gary Ablett was the star for the Suns in their win over the Giants last season with 30 possessions, two goals, 11 tackles and the three Brownlow votes.
4. Ablett and Jeremy Cameron have kicked the most total goals between the sides so far; 12 each in five matches, while Charlie Dixon from the Suns holds the record for most goals in a game with six in 2013 at StarTrack Oval.
5. Gold Coast continues to struggle in front of goal with the worst accuracy so far in 2015, kicking 36.45 at 43.9 per cent. GWS hasn't been much better with 39.44.
6. Giants' midfielder Ryan Griffen is the highest ranked player on the AFL's official rankings at number nine, with injured Suns' skipper Gary Ablett still number one.

Rhys Palmer He finally cracks the 100-game milestone in his eighth season in the AFL. The 2008 NAB AFL Rising Star had a knee reconstruction in his second season at Fremantle, but after a cross-country change of clubs and four or five injury-interrupted years, the West Aussie is now playing consistent, high quality footy for the Giants as a forward.
