Power players kept busy right up until then end of term with visits to Elizabeth Vale PS, Karrendi PS, Sturt St PS, Modbury West PS, Direk Schools and Vale Park PS.
Hallett Cove East Primary also received a visit from none other than Chad Cornes who had a ‘hoola hoop’ of fun. The school was alive with excitement as Triple M’s Kym, Ali and Dzelde, Channel Nine’s Mark Bickley and Chad broadcast their radio show ‘Back To School Friday’ from the school playground!
The day kicked off with students taking part in a huge variety of activities including a jumping castle, handball competition, jump rope, netball and face painting! Parents enjoyed a coffee and the opportunity to relax while the students eagerly awaited the arrival of Chad and Mark of whom took to the skies and flew to the school via the Channel Nine Helicopter!
Kym Ali and Dzelde had organised a very amusing surprise competition for both Chad and Mark which had hundreds of students roaring with laughter while they watched their guests compete for the ‘Hoola Hoop Champion’ status. Chad ended up with a very narrow win but both the guys made the perfect additions for photo album entries!
