Financial Controller

Driven to be recognised and respected as the most successful sporting club in Australia, both on and off the field, we are now seeking a results driven Financial Controller to join our Corporate Services team.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for:
• Managing and developing a full function finance team
• Ensuring timely adherence to all internal and external financial reporting deadlines
• Supervising the budget / re-forecasting process
• Managing Statutory reporting requirements
• Maintaining system integrity and driving improvement
The successful candidate will possess the following skills, experience and attributes:
• Relevant tertiary and CPA/CA qualification
• Strong leadership and staff management experience
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively
• High levels of attention to detail
• Ability to build strong rapport / trust with internal and external stakeholders
