WINNING against North Melbourne on Saturday is about more than four premiership points for Gold Coast, says vice-captain Touk Miller.
After seven straight losses, the Suns need a victory to maintain spirit for the second half of their season.
Miller, who returns after three weeks on the sideline with a heel injury, says Gold Coast is playing significantly better this season than last, but agreed wins were needed shortly.

"In terms of the spirit of the lads, you can only lose so much and stay up," he said.
"A couple of wins would be really nice going into the bye for us just for morale and making sure the team vibe stays up, and we can hit the back-end of the season really strong.
"A couple of wins would be really handy."
Following the Kangaroos, Gold Coast travels to Townsville to play St Kilda – another team that has struggled for wins after a fast start to its campaign.

Miller believes the Suns are close to breaking their drought, rightfully saying it's been a poor quarter here or there that has cost them.
Greater Western Sydney were far too good last week, with a nine-goal final term inflating the margin, while an undermanned Suns were only two points shy of Geelong at three-quarter time the previous week before fading.
"The win-loss record doesn't look great at the moment, but I think the way we're playing and the brand of footy we're playing is a lot better than the past," Miller said.
"You don't like losing, but the way we're losing in some respects is a lot better.
"We're putting up numbers in terms of the contest, it's a lot better.
"These are big opportunities this weekend and the weekend … for us to get some wins and arrest the win-loss record."
As well as Miller returning, Jarrod Harbrow also comes back into the Suns' lineup after missing last week with a groin complaint, while hard-nut midfielder Will Brodie has also been recalled for his third game of the year.
