The Brisbane Lions AFC has finalised its first ever Members’ Charter which has been designed to clearly define the Club’s ongoing commitments and responsibilities towards its members.

The Charter also outlines a set of expectations from the members themselves.

Lions Chairman Angus Johnson said the process to compile the Members’ Charter was thorough to ensure it accurately reflected the best interests of both parties.

“Since issuing an initial draft version of the Charter back in June, the Club has received a great deal of feedback from members who took a genuine interest in helping shape the final document,” Mr Johnson said.

“The process was complicated somewhat considering our members often have conflicting ideas with each other, so we obviously couldn’t please everyone.”

“But we’ve certainly taken some of the prevailing ideas on board and produced a strong Members’ Charter that we feel can be a guiding document for future generations.”

The Club would like to sincerely thank all members who took time to provide valuable feedback on the Members’ Charter.
