TERMS AND CONDITIONS

THE PROMOTER
The Promoter is the Melbourne Football Club, Melbourne Cricket Ground, Brunton Avenue, Jolimont, Victoria, 3002.
HOW TO ENTER
1) To enter this competition you must visit www.melbournefc.com.au and register your details on the Red Energy Player of the Day page. If you do not provide the requested personal information, you may not be eligible to enter the competition.
2) Once registered you can only vote for a Melbourne player who played in that week’s game. Registered voters are limited to one vote per week.
3) To be eligible to win the weekly prize you must vote for that week’s game.
4) To be eligible to win the major prize you must vote in at least one game of the 2006 AFL home and away season.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
5) The Red Energy Player of the Day Competition is only open to Victorian residents who are 18 years of age or older. Interstate residents are ineligible to win the weekly prizes or the major prize.
6) In relation to each draw, the Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
7) The Red Energy Player of the Day competition will only run for the 2006 AFL home and away games in which the Melbourne Football Club participates.
8) The promotion commences on 2/4/06 and concludes on 8/9/06.
9) Voting for each game commences immediately after the final siren and concludes at 4pm on the Thursday following the game.
10) A weekly prize will be awarded to a voter selected at random in the weeks following each Melbourne home and away game. Two additional names will be drawn each week and used as back-up winners of the weekly prize in the event that the first person drawn cannot be located in accordance with condition 16. At the end of the home and away season all registered voters who voted in at least one game of the 2006 AFL home and away season will go into the draw to win the Major Prize.
11) The weekly prize draw will take place at 5pm on the Thursday following every 2006 AFL Home and Away game that the Melbourne Football Club participate in, at the Melbourne Football Club, Melbourne Cricket Ground, Brunton Ave, Jolimont Vic 3002. Weekly winners will be notified via email and their name published at www.melbournefc.com.au.
12) The Major Prize Draw will take place on 8/9/06 at 8:30am at the Melbourne Football Club, Melbourne Cricket Ground, Brunton Ave, Jolimont Vic 3002. Two additional names will be drawn for the Major Prize and used as back-up winners in the event that the first person drawn cannot be located in accordance with condition 16. The winner of the major prize will be notified in writing and their name published in The Age on 11/9/06.
13) There are 22 weekly prizes available and the total value of all weekly prizes is $7,273.20. The weekly prize is a $100 bill credit from Red Energy valued at $100, a $100 restaurant voucher for the Metropol in St.Kilda valued at $100, an ASICS gift pack consisting of a t-shirt, cap and socks valued at $75, and a Musashi gift pack consisting of a 750g P40 protein powder, apricot creatine bar, and a P30 protein milk drink valued at $55.60. To receive the $100 credit the prizewinner must have an electricity account with Red Energy by 30/9/06. Red Energy will not be responsible for any penalties a winner might incur for transferring their electricity supply from another retailer. If the prizewinner is not an existing Red Energy customer, the $100 credit will appear on the first electricity bill they receive from Red Energy in addition to any other sign up credit offered by Red Energy. In the event that prizewinner is an existing Red Energy customer, the $100 credit will appear on their next bill. Prizewinner’s contact details will be provided to Red Energy to award the prizes. The promoter and Red Energy may also share your contact details and other personal information provided on the registration form with third parties who provide services to Red Energy or the promoter, such as mail house service providers for the purposes of administering this competition. In the event that the prize winner’s electricity supply agreement with Red Energy ends, and the account is in credit at the time of producing their final bill as a result of the sign up credit and/or prize credit, they will not be entitled to any refund which relates to such credits.
14) The Major Prize is two prime tickets to the 2006 AFL Grand Final including tickets to the MELBOURNEfc Grand Final Brunch valued at $2700.00. Airfares, accommodation and transfers are not included.
15) The total value of all weekly prizes and the Major Prize is $9,973.20.
16) No prizes are redeemable for cash and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to take or use the prize as stated.
17) If a winner cannot be located after 7 days, then the first back-up name drawn after the unidentified winner will be substituted as the winner. In the event that the first back-up name cannot be located after a further 7 days, then the prize will be awarded to the second back up name drawn.
18) Neither the Promoter or Red Energy will be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking any of the prizes, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
19) Employees of the Melbourne Football Club and Red Energy are ineligible to enter the prize draws.
20) You may contact the promoter at the address given above, or Red Energy, at 2 William Street, East Richmond, Victoria, 3121 or by phone on 131 806 to request access to your personal information collected in relation to this competition.
21) Red Energy may use the personal information collected on the registration form to provide you with information about their products and services and future promotions from time to time.
