WEST Coast's regular mid-season review has been completed, but the contents and conclusions remain a closely-guarded secret.

The club has won just two matches from 13 so far this season and lies 15th on the ladder, a dramatic fall from grace after winning the 2006 flag.

Coach John Worsfold is in Melbourne as he prepares his team for Friday night's clash with Hawthorn, and he said the review was something the club did every year as part of its program of self-improvement.

A local paper in Perth has reported that West Coast defensive coach Tony Micale would be moved to the position of chairman of selectors at the Eagles, and WAFL premiership player and coach Darren Harris would be let go as a result of the review.

"I haven't seen the report (in the paper), but it'd be fair to say I'm committed to preparing our football club to be the best it can be going forward, and that includes playing personnel, coaching personnel, all the things that are within my control," he said.

"We do a mid-season review of all our coaching staff, which I undertook last week with all the coaches, and they were all very positive, so now the idea is for me to be clear on what is the best setup for us to have going forward."

When questioned directly about the futures of Micale and Harris, Worsfold declined to give any details.

"That's not entirely accurate, no (the content of the newspaper report). I've had personal conversations with those guys, and I'd probably prefer it to remain that way, but they know exactly where they sit and what I expect from them, and nothing's really changed in that regard."
