A PAIR of Brownlow Medal favourites are still eligible for the award following the Match Review's findings, with Marcus Bontempelli fined and Patrick Cripps avoiding suspensions.
However, the news is not so great for Fremantle livewire Michael Walters, who has been handed a $1000 fine for staging during his side's loss to Essendon on Saturday night.

Bontempelli has been handed a $2000 fine for his late bump on Nick Haynes, which forced the Giants defender from the field and struggling to catch his breath in the aftermath.
The contact was deemed high, though crucially Michael Christian assessed the impact as low, meaning he will be available to meet Adelaide in next week's critical round 23 clash.
Meanwhile, Cripps was left with no case to answer following his clumsy collision with Hunter Clark, where he caught the St Kilda youngster with a blow to the head.
Walters, along with Bontempelli, is one of four players fined from the weekend after he exaggerated contact following an incident with Essendon defender Marty Gleeson.
The Fremantle superstar was fined $1000 for staging.
Elsewhere, Cam Rayner was fined $2000 for kneeing Joel Selwood in an off-the-ball incident, while Jaeger O'Meara was fined $1000 for making careless contact with an umpire.
