ADELAIDE skipper Taylor Walker and key defender Daniel Talia have been ruled out of Sunday's clash with West Coast at Domain Stadium.
Walker will miss the trip to Perth with a toe injury, while Talia failed a fitness test on his injured ankle.
"Both Taylor and Daniel were close to playing, but didn't quite come up in time," Crows general manager of high performance Matt Hass told the club's website.
"Taylor's toe flared up a bit on the track this week and Daniel's movement has been restricted somewhat by that ankle.
"We weren't comfortable risking them for this week, but we're confident they'll be fine for our first final."
Forward Jono Beech and ruckman Reilly O'Brien have been added to the Crows' 25-man squad, which will be trimmed to 22 players at 5pm on Friday.
Key defender Kyle Hartigan will take Talia's place in the side after making a successful return from a hamstring injury in the SANFL last weekend.
Beech, 26, could be included for his fourth career game, while the Crows could consider adding more pace with either Paul Seedsman or Wayne Milera for the large dimensions of Domain Stadium.
Talia rolled his ankle in last Friday night's three-point loss to Sydney at Adelaide Oval.
The Crows were confident the nine-day break would allow him the time to recover for the side's final home and away game of the season.
Walker had scans on his foot a couple of weeks ago, but the powerful forward suffered a toe injury in the round 21 win against Essendon at Etihad Stadium.
He took his place in the side against the Swans, but was well held by defender Dane Rampe.
The Crows have already guaranteed themselves a top-two finish irrespective of Sunday's result.
A win would deliver the club its first minor premiership since 2005, while the Crows will also finish on top if Geelong beats Greater Western Sydney at Simonds Stadium on Saturday night.
