The Vodafone Brisbane Lions will donate $5 from every ticket purchased on Friday and Saturday to the Lions v Hawks game this Saturday night at the Gabba to Youngcare.

Just call Ticketek on 132 849 or log onto ticketek.com.au to buy your tickets and the Club will handle the rest with the ticketing agency – it's that simple! Plenty of great seats are available and public transport to and from the game is free with your match ticket.

In fact, Ticketek have already donated the first $1,000 to get the ball rolling so we encourage everyone to get on-board.

A lot of young people follow the AFL and support the Lions so it's very relevant for us as a Club to return their support by donating money to the Youngcare organisation.

Youngcare will use the money to help build apartments across Australia designed for youth requiring full-time nursing care so they’re not housed in aged care facilities. Youngcare will also use this money to provide other care alternatives such as holiday accommodation, respite care and in-home assistance.

So not only will you feel good about giving $5 to Youngcare, but you'll also enjoy a blockbuster match with the Lions taking on ladder leaders Hawthorn for co-captain Luke Power's 200th game.

Four of the AFL's current top ten goal-kickers will be on show for the Saturday night shoot-out. Hawks team-mates Lance Franklin (21 goals) and Jarryd Roughead (12 goals) have kicked 31 goals between them in four matches this season while Daniel Bradshaw (16 goals) and Jonathan Brown (13 goals) have combined for 29 goals.

Youngcare and the Brisbane Lions look forward to a packed Gabba on Saturday night to cheer the boys on.
