Only an hour had passed since North Melbourne prevailed for its fourth win in a row, but preparations were quickly under way for the club's next challenge.

The Kangaroos' players were straight into recovery upon their return to the team hotel, stretching in the lobby before braving the chill in the pool and ice-baths.

For Todd Goldstein and Ben Cunnington, their ice-bath was a little warmer than what the others experienced.

Tomorrow morning the players will return to Melbourne and make the most of a seven day break before Sunday's clash against St Kilda.
