After a year off, The Spring Fling Street Festival is back to celebrate its 30th birthday on Sunday 26th October between 12 noon and 5pm on Errol Street, North Melbourne.

As a Spring Fling Street Festival Patron and Major Partner, and as part of an ongoing commitment to the community, the North Melbourne Football Club will have players Corey Jones, Hamish McIntosh, Ben Ross and Ed Lower in attendance to sign autographs and chat to fans, while The North Melbourne Football Club Home Turf will be jam packed with free interactive activities for the family over 200 square metres of turf.

Errol Street will host two outdoor stages with musical performances from artists including the Choir of Hard Knocks, as well as bringing you some of the countries’ finest young bands in the Regional Finals of FreeZA Push Start Battle of the Bands.

The event will include free wire sculpture classes for kids, as well as a jumping castle, giant children’s book sale, and a games challenge in the North Melbourne library for 6-12 year olds.

One of inner-Melbourne’s last true community festivals, Spring Fling Street Festival involves over 30 diverse community groups and more than 100 volunteers for a day of community camaraderie which provides access to the local arts and music precinct while engaging all the local traders.

So get along to Errol Street this Sunday from 12 noon, and enjoy a day of fun, sun and great community spirit.
