ADELAIDE is staying tight-lipped on whether it is interested in recruiting delisted Fremantle midfielder Michael Barlow.
The 28-year-old played 126 games for the Dockers before being told earlier this month his contract wouldn't be renewed next year.
Barlow looks to be an ideal fit for the Crows after they missed out on Carlton star Bryce Gibbs and saw Jarryd Lyons move to Gold Coast.
Crows chief executive Andrew Fagan preferred to keep any interest in Barlow private when speaking to reporters on Wednesday.
Adelaide should chase Barlow, says Cornes
"The list management guys are working through that at the moment," Fagan said.
"It would be inappropriate for me to start commenting on individual players."
The Crows had a quiet NAB AFL Trade Period after they failed to facilitate a trade with the Blues for Gibbs, who wanted to return to South Australia for personal reasons.
The Blues wanted two first-round picks or a combination of first-round picks and senior players in exchange for Gibbs, who is contracted for three more years.
Fagan said he had no regrets the deal wasn't able to get done.
"We went as far as we were willing to go and if I had my time again, we wouldn't be offering any more," Fagan said.
"We put on the table what we thought was a really aggressive offer, recognised throughout the industry as being more than fair, recognised by Bryce's own management as being more than fair.
"But again, we respect Carlton's decision.
"He's in contract and they had no requirement to trade with us."
The Crows were delighted with their fixture for next year, which features five Friday night games and a blockbuster Thursday night encounter against Hawthorn at Adelaide Oval.
The only downside for the Crows is having seven six-day breaks, with one of those coming after their match with Melbourne in Darwin.
