It's only one win away from a third successive Grand Final tilt, but North Ballarat must first overcome a massive hurdle against Box Hill on Sunday.

The Roosters finished the season three places above their opponent after the home and away season, but in a shock move, they will be forced to travel into enemy territory to keep their finals campaign on track.

Having won nine of their last ten games the Hawks are in a rich vein of form, making the challenge all the more difficult for Gerard Fitzgerald's men.

The reigning premiers are also in good touch with a 32-point win over the Scorpions a fortnight ago paving the way for a week's break.

Corey Jones, David Hale, Marcus White and Brayden Norris will lead the North Melbourne charge, while Myles Sewell and Stephen Clifton (fresh from his J.J Liston triumph) will be vital to the Roosters' chances.

With the season on the line, supporters are encouraged to get to Box Hill City Oval and support the North Ballarat team.
