THE SWELTERING Darwin heat and a six-day turnaround ahead of a massive clash with Geelong didn't come into Adelaide's decision to recall forward Tom Lynch after missing two games with viral meningitis.
The Crows will welcome back the key link-up target for Saturday night's clash with Melbourne at TIO Stadium.
Lynch was hospitalised and spent time in an intensive care unit, but has returned to full training this week.
"He trained really well the other night and he's right to go," Crows coach Don Pyke told reporters at Adelaide Airport on Friday morning.
"Once he got through the recovery phase of that viral side of things, he was able to do some walking, some running and he's trained the last week.
"It's just been a question of monitoring and his energy levels and he's been really positive in that space."
Lynch is a huge inclusion for the Crows, averaging 20.5 possessions and 7.2 marks per game.
The temperature in Darwin will reach a high of 33 degrees on Saturday, before dropping to 24 degrees at 8pm and 61 per cent humidity.
The Crows only have six days to recover before a huge Friday night encounter with the Cats at Adelaide Oval.
"We've got a game right ahead of us, that's Melbourne," Pyke said.
"We'll take the best side in that we think gives us the best chance to win that game.
"We'll assess the group after the game and decide what we do after the Geelong game."
Second-year winger Wayne Milera is out with a calf injury sustained at training on Wednesday night.
"We'll get that assessed early next week. We're not really sure of the degree of that, but hopefully it's only a one-weeker," Pyke said.
"The medicos assessed it Wednesday night, Thursday morning and said it looked like a slight strain."
Draftee Jordan Gallucci is the travelling emergency.
