Last weekend’s mascot was Jacob who was lucky enough to win the competition after his nanna filled out the entry form in The West Australian. As luck would have it, it was Jacob’s birthday and he was thrilled to be able to celebrate his special day with some of his football heroes.

Jacob plays in the midfield for the Joondalup Kinross Jets and his favourite player is Mark LeCras. He said his favourite memory from the day was running out onto the field with the West Coast team and that all his friends were very jealous.

The West Coast Eagles, in partnership with The West Australian and Channel Seven, will award the mascot prize to a new child for every qualifying home game of the 2011 AFL Season.

The lucky winner will also be taken behind the scenes at West Coast headquarters for a pre-game visit to the change rooms and photograph with Rick the Rock.

To ensure they are match-ready, the mascot winner will receive a West Coast Eagles playing uniform, including a guernsey, pair of shorts and socks.

To finish the day, the mascot winner will be given four tickets so they can catch all the action and watch their team battle it out at WA’s home of football.

To win this once-in-a-lifetime experience, look for the coupon in Friday’s edition of ‘The West Australian’ and then tune in to Channel Seven news on Tuesday nights to see if you’ve won!
