AFL Chief Executive Gillon McLachlan today welcomed the appointment of Tracey Gaudry as the Hawthorn Football Club’s new Chief Executive Officer.

AFL Chief Executive Gillon McLachlan today welcomed the appointment of Tracey Gaudry as the Hawthorn Football Club’s new Chief Executive Officer.

Mr McLachlan congratulated Ms Gaudry and the Club, and said the AFL was keen to welcome Ms Gaudry into the industry.

“The Hawthorn Football Club is the most successful AFL Club in the last 50 years, have a strong and loyal membership and are an important institution in Victoria,” Mr McLachlan said.

"Ms Gaudry comes to the Club with sport and business experience, and it is very exciting that the AFL welcomes our first female CEO.

"I have spoken with Tracey directly and congratulated her, and have offered the warm support of the AFL. The Club has challenges and opportunities ahead, and we look forward to working with Tracey in her new role delivering for the Club,” Mr McLachlan said.
