A lot of people have expressed their disappointment at our start to the season and that is understandable. We were right in the first game against Brisbane before falling away and last week we dominated possession but did not make the most of that control.
The players, coaches and everyone else at the club is just as disappointed as our fans, but stick with us, we have confidence in the direction we are taking and that we will soon convert an opportunity.
Our first chance to do that comes against North Melbourne this week in what is a big challenge for us.
Like us, North is sitting at 0-2 after two rounds and we expect them to come out hard, but no harder than we will.
Our travel plans have been altered to a degree with the team travelling tomorrow rather than the more usual practice of going two days out from a game. This formula was successful when we upset the Western Bulldogs late last year so we are hopeful it is again.
We are all looking forward to contest with the Kangaroos and hope to give our supporters something to get excited about at Etihad Stadium on Saturday.
