Day one of our Community Camp is almost over and already we've been able to get to around 30 schools and junior clubs around the Sunshine Coast.

I joined a few of the boys at Pacific Paradise Primary School this morning where we chatted to the students about keeping a healthy lifestyle and diet.

It's a program that is run by the AFLQ and basically encourages kids to exercise and eat well.

Diet is obviously a massive thing at our Club and we even have our own dietician who keeps tabs on what we're eating.

On a regular morning I'll probably eat six or so Weet-Bix, a tub of yoghurt and some Milo for breakfast. For lunch or any meal before a big game, most of the guys will eat a big bowl of pasta to get plenty of carbos into their system.

I'm not sure what will be on the menu tonight, but we're off to the Maroochy RSL for the official Community Camp dinner.

I've been told that more than around 350 people have booked for the dinner which is a good result considering all proceeds from the event go towards funding junior football on the Sunshine Coast.

Us players will be split among the guests on the tables. It can be pretty daunting at times hosting a table of strangers - particularly for the younger guys. But everyone up here has been really friendly, so we're all looking forward to it.

Tomorrow morning we're off to the Alex Heads surf club at 7am for a beach event. I hear that a few of the Nutri Grain Ironmen and Ironwomen are coming down to take on some of the players so it should provide some entertainment for the locals.

Don't forget we're also having a training run at Maroochy Multi Sports Complex at 3:30pm tomorrow before heading back to Brisbane.

I will hopefully see you then.
