FREMANTLE skipper Matthew Pavlich is a late withdrawal for Saturday's match against Richmond at the MCG.

An inflamed foot joint has forced Pavlich out. His place will be taken by forward Ryan Murphy.

Pavlich missed the Port Adealide clash three weeks ago with a jarred knee but was declared fit for the Swans match and also played against St Kilda last week.
