AFL Central Victoria in partnership with the BUA and our other affiliates is currently seeking applicants for the position of AFLCV General Manager of Umpiring.
Based in Bendigo, the successful candidate will be primarily responsible for administering the operations of the Bendigo Umpires Association (BUA) as well as being instrumental in the recruitment, development and retention of Umpires in the region. ,
We seek a self- motivated individual with:
- Highly developed verbal and written communication
- Proficient knowledge of umpiring and the role it plays in the development of our game in the region.
- Demonstrated personal initiative and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to assist with developing and delivery of a strategic plan
- A genuine interest in football and netball with a desire to lead and grow the League’s brand.
- Experience/exposure to the operations of a sporting club.
- An enthusiastic and positive approach
