MELBOURNE will enter its clash with Hawthorn without its No.1 ruckman, while the Hawks will be down a tenacious midfielder after both sides made last-minute omissions to their line-ups.
The Demons will be without Jeff White (back injury), who will be replaced by Mark Jamar, while the Hawks will miss Jordan Lewis (corked thigh) in place of debutant Jarryd Morton.
Jamar, 24, will come in for his sixth game this season, while 19-year-old Morton will come in for his first senior appearance after being drafted in 2006.
Morton will play against his younger brother Cale, who debuted for the Demons earlier this season and has since played eight games.
The Demons will start with Morton, James Frawley, Paul Johnson and Shane Valenti on the bench, while the Hawks will have Simon Taylor, Stuart Dew, Tim Clarke and another debutant in Josh Kennedy on the pine.
