Driven to be recognised and respected as the most successful sporting club in Australia, both on and off the field, we are now seeking an Assistant Accountant – Football and Venues to join our Finance team.
Reporting to the Finance Manager – Football and Venues, you will be responsible for:
- Bank and Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Preparation of monthly accounts for relevant departments
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Financial Reporting and Company Secretarial duties for associated entities of EFC
- BAS and FBT return preparation
- Assisting with Football Department finance related compliance and administration
- Medical Protocol administration
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Finance or Accounting (ideally working towards CA or CPA)
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles (min 2-3 years experience)
- Excellent communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft skills (esp. Excel)
- Previous experience with accounting software (Microsoft GP preferred)
