7. Nat Fyfe
Fremantle
Midfielder
Official AFL Player Rating: 73
Debut: 2010
Games: 74
Fast becoming one of the game’s most exciting – and most watchable – players, Fyfe polled a career-best 18 Brownlow Medal votes in 2013, averaging 25.9 disposals. He capped a magnificent season, winning Fremantle’s best and fairest for the first time after finishing second in 2011.
The 22-year-old, suspended for two matches after round two this year, played more of an inside midfield role last season and was in the top six in the AFL for contested possessions (305).
He kicked a career-high four goals against Adelaide in round 18 and had an impressive finals series.
His overhead marking is exceptional and, if he continues to work on his kicking skills, he will become one of the AFL's most valuable players.

His kicking can let him down.
