ADELAIDE wingman Paul Seedsman has avoided becoming the AFL's latest ACL victim this season, but still faces time on the sidelines.
Seedsman underwent scans on his left knee on Friday morning after landing awkwardly from a marking contest in Thursday night's 24-point loss to unbeaten Geelong at Adelaide Oval.

The initial fear was the 27-year-old had ruptured his ACL, a fate that befell his teammate Tom Doedee and AFLW Crows Erin Phillips and Chloe Scheer in recent weeks.
However, Adelaide's science and medical services coordinator Steve Saunders announced on Friday that Seedsman had not injured the ACL in his left knee.

AFL.com.au understands he sustained bone bruising but the Crows hope to know more about the extent of the damage and how long the former Magpie will be out inside the next week.
"We were obviously concerned for Paul given the nature of the injury," Saunders said.
"Follow-up examination post-game was more encouraging than initial assessments, and imaging undertaken today has proved good news for him.
"He has not injured his ACL. Paul sustained significant injury to capsular and bone structures that required MRI to understand these better.
"We will know more as to timeframes for Paul as we assess his clinical progress over the next five-to-seven days."

The match was stopped for several minutes as the medicab came out onto the ground and Seedsman was consoled by players from both teams as he was taken from the field.
