The 23 year-old has well and truly transformed himself from a potential young star into one of the most damaging ruckmen in the competition.
His performance last Saturday night against Richmond was further testament to his outstanding season.
Leuenberger collected a career-high 23 disposals, took seven marks and had 34 hitouts to accumulate a team-high 120 Dream Team points.
His effort also moved him into second place at the Club in overall Dream Team points (1,057) behind midfielder Jack Redden who remains more than 200 points clear on 1,274.
Leuenberger is also now the third highest scoring ruckman in the entire AFL Dream Team competition, behind only North Melbourne’s Todd Golstein (1,087) and West Coast premiership ruckman Dean Cox (1,351).
Meanwhile, Daniel Rich has edged closer to Joel Patfull in the Dream Team stakes. Rich’s team ‘Richy’s Rockets’ is only 105 points shy of ‘Patfull’s Posse’ - but each sit inside the top 150 in the Lions’ Dream Team Group.
‘Spaceballs’ - coached by Adam - maintains his position at the top for umpteenth week and seems to be keeping ‘albertproudftw’ at arm’s length.
Congratulations to Leo’s ‘cruze’ who top scored for Round 13 with 2,217 points in what proved a relatively low-scoring week for AFL Dream Teams.
