After landing in Perth on Friday afternoon, the 29-man Collingwood squad arrived at Patersons Stadium to run through a light training session before the NAB Cup semi final on Saturday night against West Coast.

Over 500 locals were treated to a hard running 60-minute session with assistant coach Mark Neeld running the show.  Neeld will assume head coaching responsibilities against the Eagles as part of Mick Malthouse's rotation policy.

All eyes were on new Pie Andrew Krakouer, who kicked four goals and recorded 41 touches in his last appearance at the ground.  Krakouer went on to win the Sandover Medal in a stunning performance for the Magpies.

Also impressing was Western Australian favourties Sharrod Wellingham, Harry O'Brien and Leon Davis with all three Pies familiar with the 30 degree heat.

The playing group finished the hitout by signing jumpers and posters of the supporters in attendance.

Collingwood will head back to the ground on Saturday afternoon and aim to book itself a spot in the NAB Cup grand final next Friday.
