In football, one player's bad luck can be another's good fortune. When Sam Wright was sent in for season ending shoulder surgery on Tuesday night, it opened up a few doors for some young North Melbourne players.

The Kangaroos have already had great success so far this season with its rookie elevation selections and now the club may be about to go for one or two more.

Luke Delaney and Cameron Pedersen have performed exceptionally well since being upgraded and look to be holding their spots in the Roos' best 22.

As it stands the club, and all other clubs in the league for that matter, has the ability to upgrade another rookie for free after round 11.

That move can be made at any time throughout the course of the year. If Sam Wright is placed on the long term injury list, another spot will open up on the senior list, meaning up to two more rookies could be upgraded.

It's not a choice the club has to make, but could make if it chooses. Now that Matthew Scott is out of the running due to a season ending knee injury, only three rookies remain on the list; Majak Daw, Marcus White and Aaron Mullett.

We want you to rate the players in order of importance by joining in our special discussion. Consider the type of player they are and what they bring to the table.

Also keep in mind what's lacking in the current North 22 before you make your choice.
