Have you always wanted to know why umpires make the decisions they do? Have you got a question you want to ask up and coming forward Ben Warren? Or have you ever wondered what it takes to be a Football Operations Manager?

The Northern Lights will help answer these questions and more during the annual KNOWing Footy night at the club at Arden St on Thursday 26 August at 6pm.

Coach Brad Scott and chief executive Eugene Arocca will headline a great list of speakers in what will be an entertaining and informative night filled with footy facts and trivia.

KNOWing Footy was first run in 2005 and was designed to allow female footy fans from North Melbourne and their friends to discover what goes on behind the scenes in the AFL.

The line up for the evening includes:
- Chief Executive, Eugene Arocca
- Senior Coach, Brad Scott
- Football Operations Manager, Jennie Loughnan
- AFL Umpire, Justin Schmitt
- A panel of senior and rookie players including: Ben Warren, Ben Ross and Connor Meredith
- AFL Respect and Responsibility program manager, Darren Cooper
- Question and answer sessions
- Raffles, door prizes, food and drinks and an opportunity to socialise with other footy fans

When: Thursday 26 August, 6pm-9pm
Cost: $20 for Northern Lights members, $25 for non-members
