Justin Koschitzke: I’m going to play hopefully next week in the two’s - the week the other guys have off.
justasaint: How do you think the Saints will do this year?
Justin Koschitzke: It will definitely be an improvement on last year, and hopefully develop a few young players.
Alrighty_then: Hi Kosi. Has Allan Murray fitted in well? Is it nice to have another Bushranger down at the Saints?
Justin Koschitzke: There are three of us down there now with Josh Houlihan as well. He’s going well and not far from being elevated on to the senior list.
MiLNeY-RoX: Kosi, who did you look up to when you were a little kid?
Justin Koschitzke: Stewart Loewe, Jason Dunstall and Gary Ablett.
soph: Hey Kosi, would you like to do some work in the ruck this year?
Justin Koschitzke: A little bit maybe, not a full season, but I don't mind filling in when the other guys aren't fit.
HarveysDeciple: Hey Kosi, have you found your confidence has been affected in any way by the latest injury, to go with the one you copped last year - does it affect the way you think on the field?
Justin Koschitzke: It plays a bit with your head, but at the end of the day you just play.
TC: Kosi, what position do you prefer to play and why?
Justin Koschitzke: Centre half back - it's easier to read the game, and you have the game in front of you.
Saintly_23: Are you still living with Nick Riewoldt?
Justin Koschitzke: Yes I am.
lil_milne: Hi Kosi, what is your opinion on the ‘captains club thing’ that Grant Thomas has put in place?
Justin Koschitzke: Mixed feelings - I like the traditional idea, but I can see it will promote the younger guys quicker.
HarveysDeciple: Do you see yourself sharing the forward line with Roo, or is it a case of preferring to keep one at each end, and maybe rotate the two of you?
Justin Koschitzke: Maybe I’ll be down the forward line in a few years, but Roo will never play back.
screamingbilly: Kosi, who will be playing full forward this year if Gehrig is required in the backline?
Justin Koschitzke: Luke Penny looks pretty good as a forward.
Austinns_Honey: Apart from playing every game this year, do you have any other goals?
Justin Koschitzke: Top 3 in the Best and Fairest.
turks: It will be good to watch you and Nick out there together this season. Are you looking forward to it?
Justin Koschitzke: Looking forward to it for sure.
Saintly_23: Do you think the Saints can make the finals’ this year?
Justin Koschitzke: Definitely.
rengu: When do you think Murray will get off the rookie list? He was impressive against Brisbane.
Justin Koschitzke: If he plays alright again this week, maybe in the next few weeks.
MiLNeY-RoX: When did you start playing football, and were you positive about playing AFL?
Justin Koschitzke: I started when I was about 10, and playing AFL was probably more a dream than a goal at that stage.
Austinns_Honey: Will you play in Ballarat this weekend?
Justin Koschitzke: There's a slight chance, but probably not.
lil_milne: What nationality are you Justin?
Justin Koschitzke: Way back I think we're Polish.
MiLNeY-RoX: When did you start to feel that you would be good enough to play AFL?
Justin Koschitzke: About 3-4 games in to my first TAC season.
Alrighty_then: How rapt were you to get given the mighty #23 from Loewey?
Justin Koschitzke: A career highlight so far!
HarveysDeciple: Is there a genuine expectation from you that we will play finals’ footy? Do the players have a set target in mind – ie. 12 wins?
Justin Koschitzke: We haven't discussed wins, but our goal is to win enough to play in finals’ - we play to win every game.
lucky10: Who did you barrack for when you were younger?
Justin Koschitzke: I followed Hawthorn and St Kilda.
screamingbilly: Kosi, are you wary of travelling to these regional and interstate games because of your recent back problems?
Justin Koschitzke: I’ve learned how to manage it.
lil_milne: How is it down at Moorabbin without big Stewie onboard?
Justin Koschitzke: Definitely different, but it's still good, we're still pressing forward.
lucky10: Who do you hang out with at the Club?
Justin Koschitzke: Nick, Joey, Bakes, Milney, Lenny, Schwarta.
screamingbilly: Will Powell and Ball add that much of a difference to the onball department this year?
Justin Koschitzke: Yep, Powell will be a hard in and under type, and Bally's skills will complement the midfield.
sainter_66: Who do you think will be the new young star for the Saints this year, after yours and Nick's recent successes with the Rising Star Award?
Justin Koschitzke: I think Luke Ball will win it this year, and Leigh Montagna will blitz.
