Daw, the AFL’s first Sudanese born player, launched his Twitter feed @majakdaw on Friday and received an incredible 100 followers within 20 minutes of activating his account.
Daw greeted Twitter with, ‘This is my first official Tweet...we just finished a tough training and it's time to head home and rest!’ and followed up later in the evening with, ‘Just got up from my afternoon nap. I feel fresh as a daisy.’
Swallow has over 2,000 followers @andrewswallow but he could soon be overtaken if Daw’s early popularity continues.
