THE AFL has announced the indicative fixture for week two of the finals.
The loser of the Qualifying Final between Geelong and Hawthorn will host the winner of the Elimination Final between St Kilda and the Sydney Swans in the Second Semi-Final at the MCG on Friday night, September 16.
The First Semi-Final will feature the loser of the Qualifying Final between Collingwood and West Coast, and the winner of the other Elimination Final between Carlton and Essendon on Saturday, September 17.
The match will either be played at the MCG at 7.20pm (AEST), or at Patersons Stadium at 5.50pm (local Perth time) if the Eagles lose to the Magpies.
In each case, the loser of the Qualifying Final match will have the advantage of an extra day's rest compared to the team that has won through from the Elimination Final.
