Fremantle will challenge the two-match suspension handed down to Nat Fyfe by the AFL's match review panel while West Coast's Darren Glass will contest a rough conduct charge.
Fyfe was charged with a level two offence for kicking Richmond’s Daniel Jackson during the second quarter of last Friday’s match at Patersons Stadium.
Because he had no existing bad record, Fyfe could have accepted a one-match sanction with an early plea.
If the challenge is successful, the star midfielder will be available to take on the Gold Coast Suns at Metricon Satdium this Saturday night.
However, should Fremantle fail to have the verdict overturned, Fyfe will also miss the following week’s game against Collingwood at Patersons Stadium.
Glass was charged with a level two offence and offered a two match penalty after clashing with Paul Stewart of Port Adelaide on Saturday night.
Both charges will be heard by the AFL tribunal at 5pm on Tuesday.
