The match has been labeled a “must-win” by Williams, with the Power sitting in 12th position, just two points behind the 11th placed Tigers.
“We’re calling on all our supporters to get there. This is a game we’re putting on the map as a must-win. We’ve had a fantastic record at AAMI in the past, but this year it has certainly been disappointing,” Williams said.
“We saw some little things on the weekend that we were quite satisfied with. Now we’re coming up to playing another home game and it’s about time our club stood up and won at home.”
The Power has a formidable home record, winning almost 70 per cent of games at AAMI Stadium. The club’s record against Richmond at AAMI is almost perfect, winning 9 out of 10 encounters by an average of 38 points.
“We need the fans’ support through thick and thin, so we’re asking them to come along and make some noise this Saturday.”
