Fox Footy apologised to the AFL immediately after getting a little too close to Adelaide's Ricky Henderson at half-time of the Crows' clash with the Brisbane Lions on Saturday.
The pay TV channel aired footage during its telecast of Henderson exposing himself while adjusting his shorts. The Crows expressed their disappointment over the matter, saying it had caused Henderson significant stress.
"I am aware of it and I was made aware of it when it happened because the broadcaster contacted us immediately to apologise that that hadgone to air," AFL boss Andrew Demetriou said.
"That was a mistake. It was unfortunate. The football club is entitled to be very disappointed with what transpired and hopefully it doesn't happen again.
"We do try to give an insight into the rooms and get the players closer to the public and have interviews on the field and that's been a great innovation of our game.
"I don't think we expected it to go that far though.
"We just have to keep an eye on those things."
The angry Crows are investigating the incident, including Channel 7 commentator Brian Taylor's lampooning of the matter later on Saturday night.
Crows and Power get personal

While not as directly confrontational as Crow Rod Jameson and thePower's Scott Cummings' infamous brawl in the goalsquare in Showdown I,Monday's exchange on Twitter certainly set the tone for the week.
The Power threw the first and last punch of the Twitter battle (see below), buthaving lost the last three Showdowns and with the Crows back on thewinners' list, they'll have their work cut out for them if they're tohave the last laugh.
