AN UNRULY fan ejected from Port Adelaide's loss to Richmond on Sunday night has been banned from attending Adelaide Oval games for three months by South Australian police.
Port Adelaide released a statement on Wednesday announcing police had issued the spectator with a three-month barring order.
Port also investigated last Sunday night's incident and identified that the offending fan was not a club member.
"However, the club does not tolerate any form of abusive behaviour from spectators at Adelaide Oval and fully supports the barring order issued by South Australian police," the club statement said.
Port released a spectator code of conduct last June reinforcing its commitment to creating a safe and comfortable game-day experience for all members and supporters.
Under this code of conduct, Port reserves the right to revoke memberships or casual game-day tickets.
