St Kilda’s Dream Team stars of the past few years returned to some sparkling form in Round 9, posting some big scores. Let’s take a look at the Saints Top 5 point scorers.

Leigh Montagna 151

Montagna had 38 disposals, kicked 2 goals and had an outstanding 6 tackles to post the second highest Dream Team score out of the entire AFL competition in Round 9.

Nick Riewoldt 134

The Saints Captain was fantastic in a solid four quarter display which saw Riewoldt post his highest Dream Team score for season 2011. He booted 3 goals and had 31 touches, 10 of which he collected in the final term. Look for Rooey to post some big scores, with the centre half forward pushing further up the ground.

Brendon Goddard 122

Goddard also posted his highest Dream Team score for the season, collecting 37 touches and 9 marks to score 122 points.

Sam Gilbert 92

Gilbert had 25 touches, 5 marks and 4 tackles playing in defence. He is improving each week and should continue to rack up good numbers as the season progresses.

Brett Peake 90

After being recalled to the Saints side, Peake had 21 disposals, 7 marks and kicked a goal in a solid performance.

One to watch: Sam Fisher played the majority of the game against Melbourne in the midfield after a second half stint against Hawthorn. If this trend continues we should see some big scores from Fisher.
