As part of ‘Daisy’s Big Shave’, Thomas had his head shaved at the Westpac Centre this morning as a part of the NIVEA FOR MEN ‘Shave It or Save It’ campaign. NIVEA FOR MEN donated $10,000 to Daisy’s Shave.

In shaving his head, Thomas raised vital funds for the Portland (Victoria) branch of Make-A-Wish and the N.I.C.K Foundation.
“It certainly feels different,” Thomas told the gathered media on the sprung floor in the Westpac Centre gym.
“It’s all in the name of charity, so I’m glad to be helping out such great causes”.
Thomas had his head shaved by two lucky Collingwood supporters in front of a crowd of winners of a competition conducted on the club’s official Twitter account.

Through shared experiences the N.I.C.K. Foundation engages parents to foster belief and hope in the wellbeing and future of our youth.
The N.I.C.K. Foundation, a not for profit organisation, was initiated by three friends following the tragic loss of one of their sons; Nick Buttifant a talented 20 year old musician who was loved by many and took his life in February 2009. It was born from the desire to give parents and youth hope and instil belief in the future. Nick's passion for the arts inspired the formation of the N.I.C.K. Foundation Players.
